If you are looking for a well-cushioned trail shoe, but are not willing to compromise on weight or responsiveness, the VJ Ultra is for you. Developed with input from elite runners, the VJ Ultra is outstanding for longer distances, as the name implies. It is also an excellent choice for shorter distances when you want a little extra cushioning and comfort. To ensure exceptional grip, the Superior Contact outsole is made of VJs famous butyl rubber. The last is a medium +, which is suitable for most runners. The added toe space gives you some extra balance and comfort.

I bought these to wear as my everyday shoes. They look exactly as I expected out of the box. They’re extremely lightweight, which is perfect for everyday trips to the store or work. It’s winter here now, and the lugs have been excellent in the light snow we’ve had. They’re not the most comfortable shoe I’ve had but they are definitely comfortable. I ordered a half size up and the fit is perfect. Overall I’d recommend them.

— Show originalEasily the best running shoes I've ever owned. My first trail/ultra running shoes, though, so my comparison is mostly about basic sneakers. The grip is absolutely amazing even on wet trails and rocks --- it even took a bit of getting used to when you're used to basic running shoes. It works both on asphalt and on a forest path. Thanks to the solid shock absorption, there has been no trouble in the knees, which sometimes with basic shoes take on themselves from running on a hard surface.| Overall rating |
— Show originalI switched to these from Irock 2s (so I went from extreme to extreme). It's nice when on longer trips (15-20km) the tree roots don't hurt the soles of your feet anymore. The damping is very good, but the feeling is nevertheless snappy. On wet rock, the grip is excellent and loses to the Hoka Tecton-X shoes that I use in the same type of running. — Show originalSpecial shoes. The short ilt means that the recording cannot be taken to all the tape holes, but it has to be "stopped in the middle". Otherwise, the skin is broken on that top. You have to tape your feet for every run. In addition, the nails of the front toe are hard when running, even though the shoe is just the right size. The nails of the front toes really hurt after long runs. I will not buy other similar shoes. These are used with Leucoplast for the final threat.| Overall rating |
