Our new Windbreaker. Developed according to military requirements. The technical Cordura® outer material is very robust and windproof. The cut of the lightweight jacket isextended at the back to better protect the sensitive parts of the body against the weather. There is no hood and the short stand-up collar has an integrated chin guard. The jacket can be compressed to a very small pack size and is therefore ideal as a backup solution in a backpack. It has 2 zipped side pockets, an inside pocket and a patch pocket on the left upper arm. The light windbreaker pants are designed as practical overtrousers. Easy to put on and take off is greatly simplified by the waist-high zipper. An integrated belt and the optional attachment of braces are further features of the pants. Abrasion-resistant, windproof outer material. The leg width is easily adjustable with Velcro / snap fastener. Pre-shaped knees and the effective and very light insulation make carrying and professional use easier.

At +5 degrees, in drizzle and wind, the jacket is uncomfortably hot for Finnish tastes, even if it doesn't do anything, I assume that the jacket is at its best in slight frosts. I guess I guessed this a bit. A comfortable mid-layer/light padded jacket that has been fitted with a durable outer fabric for once, and doesn't look too militant even in green.
Pros: narrow/sporty sizing! Narrower in the stomach area than, say, the Carnthian PRG 2.0
Cons: the cuffs' elastics look like they've been torn to shreds for less than a year, and are made of a really light material compared to the rest of the jacket. And well, even though I knew when I bought it that there was no hood, I wonder why. The lack of a hood makes it less usable, and this is definitely not a weight-loss jacket anyway. Weight btw according to the manufacturer is 450 g, not 1 kg as in the description.| Overall rating |
Light and warm, relatively small packable jacket that works as is or under a shell jacket or field suit. The surface repels drizzle reasonably well. The cut is a bit tighter than other jackets of the same size from the manufacturer, which is a good thing when used as an extra layer. The collar is comfortable, the sleeve length is suitable and the cuffs stay in place well. Good purchase.
