I chose the Carinthia TRG rain pants because of their more compact pack size. Excellent hardshell pants from Carinthia that are also easy to put on. In combination with a Carinthia rain jacket, they make a perfect hardshell set!

Perfect fit, full length zips are ideal putting on over boots and crampons (zips stop at the waistband) solid material

It's definitely worth the money.

Best trousers I ever used in rain. Very easy and comfortable way of putting on the trousers. Also the body doesn't feel any change of temperature wearing the trousers. Experience also showed that the trousers remain clean even if you are on dirty ground.

Pants are well made with the quality as expected. Both the jacket and pants are definitely “Shell” meaning they are very lightweight and not reinforced on knees or seat. I would also note that the material is pretty noisy. Size is accurate, functionality is excellent. Areas to improve would be to reinforce the knees.

so very well made indeed, very lightweight. so pricey, but i believe the craftsmanship might be worth it. i have yet to try it out in the rain, but super well thought out design.
