I decided to upgrade from the SA INT model tent mattress to a better one. This mattress was quite expensive, but especially during winter wilderness hut hikes, my back has often been strained on the army model mattress, as the huts often only have mattresses. Now I've been in the wilderness for a week in the wilderness in a wilderness hut and I slept well every night. It also held the air well inside. Even if I last another similar trip, I can already say that it has earned its price with the nights I slept well and the backs I avoided! And I don't think this one will do its job in a tent either. Filling is easy and quick with the included bag, which can be used to comfortably pack, for example, a change of clothes. This LW model is good at least for someone 185 cm tall. It weighs about the same as the army model mattress, but the volume is about half that. So it also saves space in your sled or backpack. Strong recommendation, buy a quality one at once so you don't have to worry.

Wide and feels soft for a side sleeper. It takes a while before you can quickly learn to use the included pump bag. The filling was successful with that pump. No experience sleeping outside yet, but going to Lapland and going from the beginning. For an inflatable friend, I got Therm-a-rest's Ridgerest classic large, which improves the R-value and provides extra protection against punctures.

This lightweight, well-crafted, and insulating sleeping pad is a significant upgrade from my previous self-inflating pad from the Dutch army. It provides superior comfort and is more convenient to pack. The Flextail pump I purchased as a complement to the pad further enhances the ease of setting up the sleeping system. I'm 6 foot 2 and 107kg the pad holds perfectly
