The first time I used it, I wasn't quite convinced when the harder oils melted properly. The reason became clear, I measured the next day and found that at low temperatures the iron was warmer than the regulator says, e.g. 110C was about 120C, and at the highest temperatures it was a little cooler, e.g. 160C was 152-155C. This is to be expected to some extent. Considering this, I think it will work better with the next application of oil. This iron has the same body as about 5 other manufacturers (at least Skigo, Maplus, Vola). It feels sturdy by the way. 4 stars.

Good value for money. At least it works well for gliding lubrication, and it seems to heat up evenly. You can set the heat about 5-10 degrees higher than the melting temperature of the cream to work well.
