Personally, I prefer to use a normal-sized, thin shekel for snowboarding. A long sickle is not particularly useful when, with hard waxes, the sickle has to be bent and the working width is on the order of a few centimetres.

The cycle is functional and has an excellent width for scraping the first stage of the snow. You need a normal cycle link for finishing, as this lacks an angle hole and doesn’t get enough pressure to remove any excess wax.
