The ugliest shoes I have ever used, tried walking in them on two 4km walks a day apart, I had a lot of pain in my ankle and hamstring after the first walk and during the second walk I was in so much pain that I could hardly continue walking , the shoes have 2 problems, for my feet, know everyone looks different but I will never use these shoes again.
1. The support around the ankle is way too stiff, it's like walking with slalom shoes.
2. Just above the heel, the upper part of the ankle support is sewn together with the bottom of the shoe and there is a sharp edge there that presses / rubs against the heel tendon.
See picture.
Unfortunately no one sells this model locally so I don't know if this is a fault with the shoes I bought or if they all have this sharp edge.

A star product! Already the third "bugs" going, each one was more valuable (and better) than the other as the faith in the products has grown. As the owner of two large dogs, what I appreciate most is that these shoes hold up as well as studded shoes can, on winter runs. The only annoying thing about the shoes is the BOA tightening system, which certainly doesn't last as long as normal laces, and you can't tighten the shoe with them as well as you could with laces. However, after half a winter like this, there is still nothing bad to say. Even if a suitable discount happened to be in place, these shoes do offer an excellent alternative for active winter outdoor activities.
