Perfect little backpack in size. This can easily hold a week's worth of summer hiking gear if your gear is relatively light/small. Almost 60 liters with the outside pockets. Good carrying capacity and easily carried a 15kg load. The carrying system is very adjustable. The carrying system is stiff and torsionally stiff. I would buy it again.

Used it for a 120km hike last year and was extremely happy with it. Light, comfortable and the large outer pockets gives you the possibility to pack a bit more than the 45l. Fits really well even for larger hikers (I'm 194cm and 100kg) One thing to look out for is that it's in some places advertised as waterproof, this is not true. You need to use either a pack liner or drybags to protect your gear.
I've been using the Padje Light 45L for over a year, and since I needed a larger pack, I recently ordered the 60L version as well. True to its name, the Padje Light is incredibly lightweight and carries effortlessly. It fits snugly on my back, and the aluminum frame provides just the right amount of support. For long weekends hiking the GR5, with overnight stays in hostels, the 45L pack has been perfect. It comfortably accommodates essential gear, including rain protection. If you also need to carry a tent, sleeping mat, and stove, it fits—but just barely. The 60L version should be ideal for trips requiring extra equipment like a tent, sleeping mat, and cooking supplies. One thing to keep in mind: the pack has very few pockets. Aside from a small one near the top for keys and a wallet, everything else goes into the main compartment or one of the three outer compartments. Fortunately, one of these provides quick access to grab a water bottle. Hip pockets aren’t included, as they add weight—but if you prefer them, you can purchase one (or two) separately. Personally, I haven’t missed them. Overall, the Padje Light is an exceptional ultralight backpack—perfect for those who prioritize weight savings without compromising on carrying comfort.

I ordered this backpack for a 7-day island crossing of Madeira and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Everything, including food, fit inside. I only attached my tent and a sleeping pad to the outside, both of which worked very well. The backpack endured everything and didn't show any signs of wear and tear. I'm totally satisfied and thrilled with it. I recommend this backpack to anyone who wants an affordable backpack with outstanding quality (p.s. This backpack can be used as a large piece of carry-on luggage ;))!

Compared to before, it feels as if there is nothing on the back. Oversized front and side pockets. Otherwise, the rucka has no unnecessary pockets, so the space of the rucka can be used better - it seems that the 45 liter Padje has more stuff than the 55+ 15 liter Deuter's Aircontact Pro. The only minus comes from the fact that there are no convenient tightening straps for the foam mattress at the bottom of the frame. I have to develop some tuning for the bottom myself.

Currently 150 Kms into the Camino de Santiago with this backpack. Good points: 1. Plenty of space on the inside. 2. Outside stretch pockets are amazingly stretchy and, so far, durable. 3. Comfortable if adjusted properly. Not so good points: 1. The straps above the shoulder straps tend to slip to the sides but it doesn't really make any difference in the comfort. Maybe solvable of you adjust the pack better, I'm not an expert. 2. The material in the shoulder straps tends to get sweat marks but easily solvable with a wash. Conclusions: great pack and I highly recommend it!
