The pouches are practical. The original attachment method is unstable and frequently comes undone. I found a way to attach them to the adjustment buckles on the hip belt and shoulder straps, which solved the problem. However, the zipper pulls on these pouches are fragile, and one of them snapped off from repeated opening and closing.

Can be taken with you when needed, attached to the hip belt so that they don't fall out when you open the hip belt, can also be used with other backpacks and knapsacks.

It does its job, but not a “wow, that’s cleverly done” thing. Straps around the hip belt, tighten – and that’s it. There are already two versions of the Padje Light backpack: the newer one has a small loop on the hip belt to which you can attach these Core pockets – a good improvement! In the older model, the pockets slide off when the hip belt is open (not so good when wading, for example). You can attach the pocket through the hip belt strap attachment, so it doesn’t fall out of place – but it still slides off, and you have to tinker with it.

In my opinion, they are essential with the Padje Light backpack. The attachment could have been designed differently, I don't trust it to be long-lasting.

Very practical, I carry them attached to the pulka harness to carry various accessories at hand.

A real plus for my Padje light, the pockets provide greater versatility and allow you to keep small objects within reach.
