Excellent socks for my taste. I personally like slightly thicker and softer, but still fitting socks for running and these do that perfectly. The size was very accurate according to the size chart. My foot is size 44.5 and I ordered size L (43-45.5) In many other socks, my size falls between two different sizes and the socks are either a little big or small, but in these the size matched well.

The most durable merino socks I've come across in over 15 years of experience. As with all padded soles, removing the piled-up "lump" is necessary from time to time. They don't last forever, but they are durable, don't collect bad odors, are comfortable even when wet, and are worth the price.

Normally I just buy hiking socks. These are thinner and I think they will wear out faster.
