Good heart rate monitor, with a variety of information. Especially the charging function is an improvement compared to previous versions. The only downside is the price.

The accuracy of heart rate measurement is on a completely different level compared to wrist measurement with a watch. With the HRM-600 heart rate monitor, certain activities can also be saved to the heart rate monitor's internal memory when, for one reason or another, you want to leave the watch and/or phone out of range. This feature is not available in the more affordable HRM-200 and HRM-Dual heart rate monitors.

The HRM600 belt is excellent in terms of technical features, combined with my Garmin Fenix 7X watch. You get even more dynamic information from running and it really supports other sports in a variety of ways. I chose a longer belt, which can be tightened around my rather slim body (I'm 188cm tall and weigh about 76kg). So far, 2 things have bothered me, the tightening/adjustment clip on the belt is now under my armpit in a place where it wants to "pinch" the skin a little. This did not happen with the previous HRM Tri belt, even though it was in the same longer M-XL size. Another consideration is related to attaching and removing the sensor from the belt; the fastening buttons are really tight, meaning you have to forcefully tear the sensor off the belt. It remains to be seen how well and how long the fastening pins on the belt side will last, as they are subjected to a strong “pull” when removing the sensor. Possibly a plastic car upholstery tool could work best when removing the sensor, with which you can pry the sensor off its pins. The new sensor is also clearly larger and heavier compared to the HRM Tri sensor, so it takes some getting used to and not everyone will necessarily like it. Finally, if you compare the pricing, my assessment is that the HRM Tri (or the current so-called basic sensor HRM200?) is very sufficient for most users, among other things because of the very long battery life. So far, only the dynamics data and the chargeability of the sensor vs. battery operation are supposedly better, but even with the above reservations. So I only recommend it with reservations.

Worked very well. Provides nice additional data on running technique with the Forerunner 970 watch. The battery has not yet needed to be charged after 2 weeks of almost daily use, but the charging feature instead of batteries is positive.

I don't have many hours of experience with it yet, but I just have to hope that this will last more hours of use than the HRM PRO PLUS and other older models. The plus here is that the sensor can be removed, which creates a sense of security when washing the belt.

Very accurate device, maybe I haven't gotten the most out of it because I've used it very little on its own, but especially when paired with the Forerunner 970 watch I've gotten very good data to improve my running style after a break of several years. Accurate sensors and otherwise a really good device.

Good and accurate measurement. Syncs well with Apple Watch and phone. Measures well even without other devices. All in all, a good fit if you need more accurate heart rate measurement.

The battery lasts a long time, the measurement works well and is accurate. The sensor is quite large and interferes with some workouts. The same charger fits both the watch and the heart rate belt.

The measurement range reaches further down the side than in older models, which probably brings better accuracy at least for heart rate measurement. Partly for this reason, the edge of the left measurement range initially itched on the side, but the problem went away within a couple of weeks. The battery does not need to be charged annoyingly often, with my own heavy use it lasts a couple of weeks. The old Garmin charging cable does not stay attached to the device, so you have to use the new cable that came with it, even though they are nominally the same.

Works great and the battery lasts well. The same charger as the watch is still really nice.
