It fits well on the backpack and you can even slip rain gear under it, so it's quickly available if needed. The backpack can be put down anywhere on the back, and it's not immediately dirty, it's easier to unpack a clean backpack in the evening, you can even leave the dirty rain cover as a base for getting dressed.

I should have bought an XL rain cover for my L-sized backpack. Due to the extra pockets and overpacking, the L-sized rain cover is too small.

Good product in general, but unfortunately the green colours from the backpack and the rain cover differ widely even though it is from the same company
