Absolutely necessary in many situations, if you need to get to a screw in a slightly tighter place, Withstands even hard use surprisingly well. A small minus is that there is no reasonable place for this in Leatherman's leather case. I stuck the fountain pen clip on the handle, so I could stay with it at least somehow safely.

A nice addition to the Wave+ tool. A small minus is the unintentional sinking of the standard tips unnecessarily deep into the holder of the extension arm, although it does not hinder the operation.

Handy help, e.g. at a cottage, when there are all kinds of small things to fix and adjust. I put the extension arm in the bit kit and it hangs from the belt. When you don't always have a screwdriver handy, the Leatherman Wave does the job conveniently.

Nice to be able to use my existing hexagonal screwdriver bits with my Leatherman Wave and I may get around to getting some dedicated low-profile ones. Also can use with my Gator Grip - fun! Disappointed that there is play in it when connected to the Wave - there is almost none with the bit that came with the Wave, even though it installs in the same way. Still useable but an annoyance and made me think twice about getting the ratchet version (which this could be used with as an extension). Excellent service from Varuste.
