It glides excellently, it feels good underfoot and you can go hard. But: the skates broke at the attachment point of the blade already on the fourth time of skating when falling, and not even when hitting a groove. Durability does not guarantee. In addition, due to its profile, it is not suitable for excursion skating if there is several centimeters of snow on the ice.

Based on the first skates, the skate feels like a proper power. There is little suspicion of rust on the blade after a couple of uses, even though the skates have been dried really carefully after use and stored in a dry and airy place. At Rottefe, the installation of Performance Skate NIS bindings was easy.

OK for track skating but these skates are not suitable for touring skating. The attachment of the bandage to the NIS rail does not work during touring skating, the bandage was torn off the skate when the skate stopped to freeze. For touring skates, the bandage must be attached to the skate with screws. The blade height of the OAC Prophet is also not enough for touring skating. When there is variation in ice (unevenness or snow) the skate body will stick to the base.

These are really cool skates and look more modern compared the traditional t-shape metal skates. What I personally didn`t like is that on the ice they sound a bit different (as the are made from plastic and only 1cm metal and are hollow inside). And after drilling for my NNN-BC binding the screws do not all grab into the top layer of quite thin plastic and hollow room inside very well. It would be better if the top space would be more thick to stabilize them. Or just use a NIS-System what they are even more made for. ;) The metal part is not completely flat and has a very slight curve on the ice.
