Durable pants that will last for years. These pants, with their NEW fit, are narrower in the legs and lower in the waist compared to the old ones. The previous ones had a looser fit similar to the Barents Pro pants. I'm not saying they're bad, but they're a little different. I'm a tall, slender and athletic guy, 196 cm (6' 3") and 84 kg (185 lb). The pants fit perfectly in my usual size (54), but for someone of the same height and more robust build with larger thighs, they might be a bit narrower. The lower waist is an advantage at least in my case, because it doesn't interfere with the backpack hipbelt and is a more "modern" cut. The length is just right, but the "large" size ends at 34 inches, if they were two inches longer, up to 36 inches in the "large" size, it wouldn't matter at all. Incredible service and fast shipping from Varuste are the best. It's one of the best stores in Europe with the best prices and service. I'll definitely be back.

Excellent trousers. Not cheap but worth it!

Lower waist than Keb pants. Not stretchy. Black ones are completely black as the elastic panels are missing; Keb ones have a more grayish tone in the elastic panels. Pockets, fit, quality, color, leg openings are five-star performance. These were made as everyday pants, but for hiking, dog walking, and exercise, I would consider Keb ones a better option due to their elasticity.

An excellent model from the Fjällräven collection. Breathable and comfortable for summer use that does not grind even in warm weather. Also suitable for cold weather and snow as a shell pant, which repels moisture moderately.
Applying wax to old pants is quite difficult and not even. However, I don't see wax as important as breathability, and careful washing or just wiping will make the water repellency last for several years.
