Petzl Swivel Open

Ported cutter with protected ball bearings. A ready-made solution to prevent twisting and tangling of ropes and connecting ropes. Also enables minimizing the distance of the system to the anchor point. Attaches to many different products (pulleys, connecting ropes, etc.) thanks to the large opening gates, which also allows for a reduction in overall weight and overall length in larger systems, as there is no need for lock washers at all.

Advantages for the user when used in pulley systems:

1) Prevents the rope from twisting when the load is moving and thus reduces the sag

2) Reduces the friction between the ropes, which improves the operation of the pulley

3) Enables the construction of pulley systems even in very tight spaces, where the vertical space does not allow for additional closing rings, which are necessary with standard cutters (e.g. between tanks and roofs and when used with a tripod).

When moving with the connecting rope, the Swivel Open between the connecting rope and the harness simplifies use, prevents the rope's branches from twisting and facilitates use, making working at height faster and more efficient.

Excellent performance and operational reliability thanks to protected deep groove ball bearings that do not require maintenance. The gates are opened and closed with a 3 mm hex key. Thanks to the sealing rings, there is no need for a screw lock.
