Petzl Tibloc

A small and ultra-light spring-loaded rope gripper. When used together with the locking ring, it forms a climbing handle that can be used in core ropes with a diameter of 8-11 mm EN1891 and EN 892. Designed for rescue, work and sport climbing use: for ascending along a rope, building pulley systems and replacing prusik knots in rescue situations. Automatic design that presses the closing ring onto the rope, so the gripper always works immediately after moving the rope. Basic safety-enhancing equipment that every professional working at heights or in confined spaces should always have hanging with them in the equipment loop.

Clinging to the rope is based on gripper spikes. The spikes do not wear the rope. Thanks to the cleaning groove in the middle of the spikes, it also works well in icy and muddy conditions. A small hole for the accessory cord (max. 3 mm, 12 cm) for the accessory cord prevents accidental dropping.

We recommend the self-locking Petzl OK TriactLock locking ring as a closing ring and the lockable Petzl Micro Traxion wheel as a pulley wheel, so you have an ultra-light and efficient pulley solution.
