Spacious and stable dome tent with two generous vestibules. A lightweight and comfortable trekking tent for four-season use, in all conditions except the most exposed. Two entrances simplify tent life, making it easier to keep organised inside the tent and you can use the lee-side entrance in windy weather. There is also plenty of space for equipment, cooking and activities when the weather is bad. The inner tent and flysheet are raised together. The three-pole construction makes the tent self supporting and easy to pitch anywhere – use the guylines to anchor it in place and make it totally stable in the wind. The pole sleeves are colour coded for simplicity and dimensioned so you can use double poles (an accessory) in exposed conditions. The tent has a comfortable sitting height and a good area for socialising. There is a detachable mesh shelf in the inner tent and several mesh pockets for storing gear.
Large entrances with extra-fine mosquito netting allow you to admire the view from your sleeping bag without the intrusion of insects. Closable ventilation openings at different heights give the best possible airflow. This, together with the possibility of fastening the outer door in a half-open position, makes the tent an excellent choice in tropical climates. The flysheet is made from Fjällräven’s new high-performance TripleRip nylon and an innovative construction that combines two different fabric weights – 20 denier in the top part and 40 denier at the bottom where abrasion is most intensive – giving excellent strength despite low weight. Just like all of Fjällräven’s tents, Abisko Dome 3 is made entirely without PVC plastic and toxic flame retardants, and its impregnation is fluorocarbon free.

Super light material, well thought out design. Comfortable inside with good seating height. Floor material is light, I've seen online reviews recommending to use the foot print. On initial setup, make sure the reinforcing lines are all below the floor before trying to stand up the tent poles.

A good tent for two people and two dogs. A sturdy and high-quality tent, well ventilated even in summer. The interior height is pleasantly high if you spend time in the tent. We haven't had a chance to test the waterproofness in very heavy rain yet, but when it rains, moisture rises from the edges of the inner tent rather than seeping through the roof of the outer tent. The waterproofness is probably average. The only downside is that Fjellun tents are made in China.

Absolutely well thought out tent, every detail is just right! We bought the Abisko Dome 3 for the two of us, which is perfect if you also travel by bike or car from time to time. If you only need the tent for hiking, you might have to consider whether you want to save half a kilo of weight with the Abisko Dome 2.

I am looking for a tent for trips of a few nights max with my daughter 5 years old and a possible +1. After a long search, I ended up with this one because, based on the reviews, the tent bends to many things, can be set up alone, is spacious, long-lasting and durable and doesn't leave you in trouble even in worse weather. After a very rainy two night hike last weekend, I totally sign off on them. The water came down from the sky for long periods of time, but at no point was there any concern that any place would fail. I "got" to test the setup even in the rain and I managed to set it up alone without the inner tent actually getting wet at all. Of course, some drops got on the bottom, but nothing disturbing or something that a rag wouldn't have dealt with. So yes, really easy and quick to set up! The tent is heavy, but for this specific use, i.e. for family trips with a maximum of 2-3 kilometers, it is a very successful choice. The price was such that it even caused a little physical pain, but I believe that the warranty matters will work and judging by everything, the tent will be durable, so that price won't feel bad after five years. And it's bad that you compromise on quality when you part ways with a child. There was some condensation both nights, but I think it will be fixed when you learn to use the air flaps, which are enough, and the doors can also be used for this purpose if necessary. It was raining and the humidity was such that it is possible that no ventilation would have helped this problem anyway. I also bought a foot print for which a big recommendation.
