Product description

Extra ground sheet for Keb Dome 3 and Abisko Dome 3 that covers entire tent footprint, including vestibule. Made from durable, waterproof nylon fabric with PU coating. Protects tent floor and equipment against abrasion, dirt and moisture – practical when pitching tent in stony, wet or muddy conditions – and also reduces condensation inside the tent. Attaches with toggles.

Not mandatory but a highly recommended addition to the tent. Bring extra comfort to the hallways and the inner tent stays cleaner. I don't understand why it shouldn't already be part of the package as an option that you can leave at home if you don't want to go on a trip.

Protects the bottom of the tent nicely and you can change clothes while standing on the footprint with the door open. Pin needles and mud etc. do not stick to socks when changing shoes or clothes.
