Product description
Light, well-ventilated zip-off trousers for trekking in warm conditions. Zippers just above the knees can be used to transform them into a pair of shorts, practical when travelling and you want to pack smart with many uses for one and the same garment. Hardwearing four-way stretch fabric and G-1000 Lite give a comfortable, fast-drying pair of trousers with excellent breathability.
The cut is technical with pre-shaped knees that when combined with stretch fabric lets you lengthen your stride without any restrictions. There are two hand pockets as well as spacious leg pockets with zippers for a map or the like. The leg endings have strap adjustments and boothooks that prevent them from riding up. Reinforcements at the hems and on the inside of the calves make them extra resistant to wear and tear. This model has Regular leg length.

These pants have quickly become my new favorite for light tracking and traveling. They don't set off airport security alarms, which is a major plus. They are lighter than the Fjällräven Keb pants and have more stretch than the Fjällräven Vidda Pro pants. The only thing I wish is that the side pockets were a bit larger. While you can store the zip-off legs in the side pockets, they tend to feel quite full when doing so.

The pants were repaired at the crotch due to pitting after just under a year of use, and pitting under the front thigh pockets occurred after just under two years of use. Some don't dry, others don't breathe, others can't be ventilated, so there are no cooling holes. Piruvie, the last ones were ordered too small, so return and order again. Thank you. T. Risto SetäläGreat trousers for summer hiking. Pros: lightweight, plenty of stretch material, robustness. Cons: moskitos easily bite through those parts of the trouser where there is no double fabric layer. The trousers are not impregnated right away, but require impregnation with the Greenland Wax. The process is easy to do at home, but might have to be repeated several times - my pants were not waterproof after a single application. The trousers becomes less breathable once impregnated.
