Not entirely sure this makes any difference to be honest. It would reflect the light downwards a lot better if it was shiny on the underside, but it isn't - only shiny on the top. The fact it is not made of brass like the rest of the lamp is disappointing.

Perfect product. However, there's room for improvement in the pre-sales and consultation phase: three precisely formulated written questions/follow-up questions were consistently answered, but none of them addressed the original question. In other words, no answer is better than one that is completely useless to the customer!

Well packaged, perfectly made. Fits perfectly in the separate case that I also bought.

I decided to buy this accessory as I plan to use the lamp to light the garden table. After tests, the reflector is good to avoid to be dazzled by the mantle but also to remove the shadow under the lamp when hanged. it seems to me an essential accessory. Go for it !

Very satisfied with the quality of this product. Three times heavier than other brands. But I have received a product that is a little dented on its surface.
