Your mat to Petromax. Reduces glare when you distribute the light of a bright sock over a wider area. Makes lighting difficult when you can no longer see so well inside the lamp. I bought this problem to also remove "vertically frosted" water, which is a nice combination.

Frosted glass makes it a bit difficult to see the alcohol bowl if you use that method to light your lamp. If you use the blowtorch method, it is a fine product that softens the output of the match.

Quality glass that distributes light evenly. It is worth noting that this is best suited for a lantern with kerosene preheater. Checking Sinol into the cup is awkward when you can't see through the frosted glass.
