Good on the feet, seems to have good grip even on wet surfaces and the protection of the sole is a big plus. I've had Salomon shoes before and these will probably continue to be so.

I bought these boots because they don't have a membrane and I needed something to wear in hot and dry climate. Not as cool and well ventilated as I hoped, but that is due/thanks to the comfortable padding. Good grip and very rigid so they support the foot well. A bit time consuming to tie - hooks like the ones Lundhags use are much quicker. Will soon try them out "for real" in hot & dry but so far I have only had them in Swedish winter/spring weather.

Solid basic Salomon shoes! Feels good on the feet and can move nimbly. Without goretex, the water resistance is of course weaker, but it hasn't hurt in basic SRA/track use.
