A little bit of gravity comes into play and you get quickly squeezed clean water that is safe to drink. Filters are saved if you don't filter tap water at all, and you have to remember that blue-green algae-contaminated water should not be used for drinking or cooking, even if it is filtered. This filter saves you from unnecessary ballast when you don't have to carry so much water with you at once. A small price to pay for not having an upset stomach and the need to evacuate the wilderness.

Works in this way to filter water, the water becomes clear and fresh. However, the filter is really heavy to use, the average person is allowed to use brisk force to get pressed into the bottom of the filter and if you filter more than one bottle, you will feel it in the palms. I was surprised at how laborious that was when I wasn’t at the most frail end and the forces were running out of it in between. I tried without the cap and the cap was "half open" as instructed, but this didn't make things much easier.

At first it seems to be playing really well, but already on a week-long trip in the Arm Wilderness in August (where we didn't even clean all the water), it started to hurt the palms when the cleaner had to be pressed all the time. One minute, even two was just normal time to get that less than half a liter cleaned. Drying helped a little. The basic principle felt good and the bottle is good looking and conveniently sized - that bigger version of this would have been a really big jingle, while this one goes pretty conveniently into the drink bottle pocket. The screw cap is not the best, but it does work. That is, run your business on a short trip.

The product works great until the filter is wet and cannot be dried at night. The wet filter practically no longer pushes in, ie it did not work. This phenomenon started on the second day of the trip after about 6 filtrations, and the water was not very humus-rich or not at all, so there was no fault in it either. Yes, I switched to a new filter, but my doubts are still valid when I haven’t gotten to try it now. It would be exciting to hear how others have worked on longer trips.

Experience only after a couple of uses. Seems to work exactly as promised.
This bottle size, I think the ideal for many kinds of hiking, and I am pleased that I bought a bigger model. By ordering online, I wouldn’t have really outlined the size of its larger version, but when I saw it in the store, it was clear that it shouldn’t be dragged along for safety.
-It is not heavy to press, but requires light pressure and a little patience (everyone can use it)
- it is good to dry the filter when you have the opportunity, so you can filter more quickly
-Filtration improves the taste of surprising water a lot
-Good to know! DOES NOT FILTER, for example, cyanobacterial toxins
