A surprisingly good experience on the first test trip! Although the pack is on the smaller side, it still held everything needed for a three-day trip, including shelter and a camp stove. The side pockets are a bit tight; they only fit a half-liter water bottle. This could be challenging on trips requiring you to carry a lot of water. The Eja is praised for being well-suited to women, and it certainly felt more comfortable to carry than my previous packs. I’ve previously used the Lundhags Padje Light 60L, Granite Gear Crown3 60L, and a 60L Vaude, among others; compared to these, the Eja is significantly more compact.| Overall rating |
I am very happy with my purchase. I used it for a multi-day hike and found it very comfortable to wear. It is very lightweight and distributes weight well. I really like the side pockets, which allow you to stow and retrieve water bottles without taking off the pack (I found that each pocket can easily hold two: a one-liter bottle upright, plus a 50cl bottle in front that’s accessible without removing the pack). Like all Osprey packs, the trekking pole attachment system is very convenient. The only downside for me is the compression strap system; it’s effective but a bit complicated, and since the straps run across the outside of the side pockets, they can block access to them. However, the rest is excellent, and I have no regrets about my choice. The harness is easy to adjust, the top lid is easily removable if not needed, and the front pocket is very spacious.| Overall rating |
I tried Osprey Renn 65 too and Eja fits me perfectly. 159cm 52kg super light and comfy. 10kg weight didn't feel much with this pack

Good carrying capacity, 15 kg can be carried easily and there's not much more to it. Size M/L is suitable and the adjustments are good. Even though I'm only 155 cm tall, the back length in size XS/S wasn't enough for me or even my child... It's really meant for extremely small adults. Convenient pockets. The clips seem annoyingly flimsy, especially for the hip belt I wish they were sturdier. The padding on the straps is quite rough material.
