Pros: Very light and comfortable on the feet. Durable.
Disadvantages: More grit and pebbles get stuck to the sole pattern than any other shoe. The inner edge of the shoe splashes water from an unnecessarily shallow puddle. The grip hasn't been great on wet rocks, especially when the gravel blocking the bottom pattern has stuck to the bottom.

They are comfortable, like putting on socks! Compared to the previous Merrells, the sole is a bit thinner and (partly due to the large mass of the user) some larger stones etc. feel a bit uncomfortable on the sole of the foot, but this does not disturb much. If you are flat-footed, you have to focus on better walking with these, because with your normal walking style, your feet will otherwise "slap" on the ground. After walking runs, the muscles of the soles of the feet feel like work has been done there, which, for example, is clearly not done with basic sneakers!
