Oberserver Plus: The perfect sniper bivy bag with self-standing double pole support. Two Tent poles form a small dome at the head end which provides enough space for the user to handle a rifle or other piece of equipment. The Bivy-Bags slopes down from the shoulder to the foot end thus preventing straight lines which are easily spotted.
The L-shaped opening makes it convenient to get in and out of the bag which can be closed with 2 zippers. All zippers are protected by a specially designed storm flap to make the front allows an observation range of 180° and can be closed completely in bad weather. The user´s rifle and telescope can nevertheless still be placed in position through an obersavtion split. Both the obersvation opening and the access opening are fitted with a mosquito net. There are 5 loops on the bakc of the oberserver to hold the insulating mat in place.

My first experience was only in dry weather but by the quality of the material and build I have no doubt that it will hold its own in any weather conditions. It has room to spare and all the opening give great observation out and extra airflow in hot conditions.

Surprisingly spacious. If you leave the zippers completely closed while sleeping, some condensation still forms, though not much. You need to leave some of the zippers slightly open to avoid it.

— Show originalA great hooped bivy for a sheltered overnight stay without being too conspicuous. Thanks to breathable Gore-Tex, you can completely close the bivy without feeling suffocated. It's important to understand that this isn't a tent where you can also store a backpack and gear. However, there is still room for a small backpack. The quality is excellent. The only reason I'm not giving this bivy sack 5 stars is the extremely high price. Otherwise, I'm completely convinced by the product.| Overall rating |
