You’re under way and urgently need to make a call, only to find out that the battery is dead. Powertraveller provides the solution: The Powermonkey eXtreme is a solar-powered charger with an additional battery, specifically designed for the use in military- and law enforcement services. Your mobile device can be charged directly via the solar charging unit, if the sunlight is not sufficient, the additional battery finds its use, which can be charged via solar-panel, USB-cable or power adapter. Its capacity of 9000mAh is enough to charge your smartphone up to six times, tablets up to two and regular phones up to twelve times. The Panel provides maximum Voltage/Power of 5V / 3W, the built-in USB-jack outputs 5 Volts of potential and holds 700 mAh.

The battery is dust- and waterproof by the terms of the IP 67 standards, and thanks to the sturdy, shock-proof casing, the Powermonkey eXtreme solar-panel is perfectly suited for military-operations.

The Powermonkey eXtreme comes complete with a useful, durable zipped travel case, a solar-charger, an external battery-pack, a charger, which includes 4 different adapters (EU, GB, US, AUS), a USB-plug, Micro-USB-plug, and a USB cable. Additionally this piece of equipment comes with a plug for BlackBerry, Garmin, HTC, LG, Motorola, Nintendo, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, A DC 4.0 adapter for Sony PSP, E-Reader and current digital cameras, as well as a velcro-strip to mount the Powermonkey eXtreme.
