When every ounce matters but you still need a backpack that's more than just a sack with shoulder straps, the Exos makes for an excellent ultralight companion. The Exos 58, made with 100% recycled materials, is perfect for those more committing trips when resupply is few and far between. Highly experienced backpackers will appreciate industry-leading comfort and ventilation—without the weight it often adds—making it the perfect pack for committing through-hikes and ultralights. Need to slim things down even further? Remove the floating lid and use the integrated FlapJacket to protect your gear inside. Plus, Ospreys refined AirSpeed suspension keeps you cool with maximum airflow between you and your pack, so each mile stays as comfortable as the last.

I'm 172 cm tall and have a fairly long back, and the larger size was better for me. The features are quite simple, which is to be expected in this weight class. Having gotten used to my previous backpack, I miss a little bit of a zipper to access the items on the bottom, but I guess this is more of a matter of getting used to. It would always add weight. However, I'll probably choose a zippered one for my next backpack. The three mesh pockets on the outside are good and really spacious. I was able to access the side pocket's water bottle without taking the backpack off my back. There was also a new backpack on the shopping list for day hikes that require a bit more stuff. However, this also works as a daypack, because the straps pack up so well. I also like that the flap can be easily removed if you don't need it. One of the shoulder straps or one of the straps makes a clicking noise when walking, but I haven't managed to locate where yet. The straps also creak a little after four uses. Maybe they'll settle down from there. Overall, excellent value for money, especially since I got this on sale.

Great product. It fit my stuff and food for a 5-day autumn hike just fine.

A light, comfortable, back-friendly backpack. Feels just as good as my previous (heavier) Osprey backpack

Surprisingly comfortable, but the side straps are a bit difficult and annoying to use.

The flip-flop thing is completely useless. Good to carry.

Clearly a better backpack to carry than the previous backpack I owned.
